From a young age Mike was always intrigued by the measurements and
perceptions of sound and how everything physically worked together with
it. Throughout his high school years he was an essential part of the
sound crew and ultimately became responsible for running the front of
house mix for the plays and musical productions the school put on. Mike
was consistently active as a drummer for a few different local rock
groups. Not only did he act as a performer, he tracked, mixed and
produced several demos for his bands as well as for other groups he had
made acquaintance with.
Sound wasn't the only thing Mike was interested in, however. He also spent a lot of time studying the art of photography and video editing. After learning to digitally edit and manipulate photos and cut together short and simple videos to make his friends laugh, Mike decided his happy medium was in the realm of post production - where he could creatively combine both audio and video elements.
With this in mind, Mike made the cross-country move from his hometown to Los Angeles, California where he has developed new skills and improved upon old ones. Having the opportunity to work on projects for some of Hollywood's largest studios, Mike strives to continue on his journey through the entertainment industry world.
