Maxx Stratton made his film debut as an actor in Larry Fessenden's Wendigo (2001), and has appeared in the Showtime television series Street Time (2002) as well as David Leslie's "Box Opera 3." He wrote, shot and directed the short documentary, Oro Negro detailing a trip to Ecuador, where he filmed scenes of the devastation wrought by U.S. oil drilling in the country. "Oro Negro" was featured in the 2005 Columbia Film Festival and the Queens International Film Festival. He has studied at the Stone Ridge Center for the Arts summer theater workshop in New York and at The Drama Workshop in Toronto. He holds a first degree black belt in the Korean martial art of Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan, and enjoys snowboarding, skateboarding and soccer. He lives in New York's Hudson Valley region.
