Michael Sinclair Walter, the youngest of four children. He lost his mother to lung cancer on Thanksgiving night in 2006. His oldest sister passed away on June 30, 2014, and his father passed away years later. His sister is still alive and resides in Maryland, and his brother is alive and splits his time between Oregon and Venezuela. Michael has been a high-ranking martial artist for 49 years. He is a Sifu in JKD (2nd Generation Jeet Kune Do Instructor, under Danny Inosanto, a close friend and training partner of the late Bruce Lee). Additionally, he holds ranks in Karate, Kickboxing, and Judo, and he began training in BJJ in 2023. Mr. Walter has been involved in the entertainment industry since 1979, working on film and television projects worldwide. He is a world-renowned stunt coordinator, stuntman, and actor. He is married with three daughters, and he and his family live in Albuquerque, NM, except for one daughter who is married and lives in Georgia. On May 22, 1980, Michael was involved in a near-fatal car accident in Redondo Beach, CA. He was in a coma, paralyzed, blinded, with a million-to-one chance of survival. His story is documented in his book. In 1993, he was inducted into Hollywood's Stuntman's Hall of Fame. He is a member of both the Director's Guild of America (since 1994) and the Screen Actors Guild (since 1983). Mr. Walter has produced, directed, and acted in many projects, including his own true story, Another In The Fire (2024). Mr. Walter has been featured in many TV shows, TV news interviews, and newspaper articles. He once served as a stunt consultant for Universal Studios Florida and served one term on the Screen Actors Guild Stunt and Safety Committee. Michael got his start in the entertainment industry when his martial arts instructor, Mr. Danny Inosanto, introduced him to the late great stunt coordinator Bobby Bass, who in turn introduced Michael to the legendary Dar Robinson. The rest, as they say, is history. On June 15, 2024, Mr. Walter celebrated 45 years in the entertainment industry. He is very grateful, and proud, and wants to thank God for his second chance.
