Supriya Pathak Kapur (born 7 January 1961) is an Indian performer, destined to on-screen character Dina Pathak into an ethnic of Gujarati family, she was one of the extremely popular compelling performing artists, in Hindi Cinema, throughout the 1980s and 1990s, gaining two Filmfare Awards. In the early time of her existence, she acted in theatre, before making her introduction in 1981 Kalyug, which she won her first Filmfare Awards for Best supporting Actress. Later, rose to noticeable quality and accepted discriminating surveys for her part in 1982 Bazaar, which she again won a Filmfare Awards for Best supporting Actress. In 1988, Pathak showed up on a French wander, The Bengali Night, and in "blockbuster" Shahenshah (1988 film). In the early 2002, she starred in comedy Tv-Serial Khichdi, gaining Indian Telly Award for Best Actress in a Comic Role, and additionally got positive review[s] for her portrayal as Hansa Parekh. In 2013 she was part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela for which she won Filmfare award for Best Supporting Actress.
